This footage you provided of John, the maize farmer, was shown to roughly 250 participants (including former presidents John Kufuor and Joaquim Chissano) in the plenary session that kicked off our Forum last Monday. All of our partners’ clips were a huge hit, but none so much as the video of John, whose long-term outlook for his farm at the age of 73 made the whole room smile.
I wanted to extend a huge thank you to you and your team for contributing to this video project. These videos really served to ground conversations that can so easily become Washington-centric.
